This is indeed a time saver. Whenever anything spills over just wait for the oven to cool and wash the spillage off of the oven liner. This is the second one I've had My husband mistakenly threw my first one away before I could get around to cleaning it one day. Even if you have a self cleaning oven it's a good investment because it takes a lot of electricity to put your oven thru the clean cycle.
